They’re adorable, tender, and fun to eat. Microgreens have 5-10x the amount of nutrients contained in the whole vegetable counterparts and they’re such an easy way to eat raw fresh greens.
We hope you were able to make it out last Saturday to try this fantastic recipe that blends fresh flavors and local foods into one delectable dish. A big thanks to chef Sacha Levine and the folks from C-CAP (and organization that helps high schoolers start careers in the culinary arts) who served up this dish at our grand opening celebration.
Our first Wednesday Market was a success! Thanks to everyone who came out to see us, including FOX 10 News! We will continue to offer Uptown Wednesday Market though June from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
We’re so fortunate to have a fantastic space for a farmers market. It’s so fantastic that it’s already been booked for two major Phoenix parades: the APS Festival of Lights Parade and the Fiesta Bowl Parade which will take place on December 6th and 27th, respectively. And that means we WILL NOT be having market on those days. Please tell your friends and we apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused. We’ll see you on all other Saturdays!
As usual, over 60 vendors and rotating visiting artists will be present, including some NEW vendors.
We wanted to thank you all for coming out to spend the morning with us last Saturday! It was quite chilly and a beautiful day. Channel 3. Channel 5 and Channel 10 came out to record footage. We saw so many friends and neighbors visiting with each other and many brought their dogs!
This Saturday from 10a – noon, Santa is offering family photo opportunities and market sleigh rides. Bring the whole family for some extra holiday cheer while you pick up foods to fill your pantry and gifts to share with your family and friends.
Grab the kids and bring your family and friends to hang out and shop local with us at the Uptown Farmers Market.
