The train engine comes with the choice of 3 smokestacks; Large, Medium, and Small.

The train base and engine cabin are made of Poplar hardwood. The Boiler is made of Pine. The boiler base is Walnut hardwood. The wheels, axels, peg person, smokestack, and furniture buttons are made of birch hardwood. The black red and yellow details on the engine are painted with 2 primer coats, 2 color coats, 2 clear lacquer coats and are glued into place with a 2 part epoxy adhesive. The incised design is handcrafted with a wood-burning tool. Food-grade mineral oil is applied as a finish.
