Wooden Arizona Railroad Caboose

The caboose is made of Poplar hardwood. The wheels, axels, and 3 peg people are made of birch hardwood. The black bumpers in the rear of the caboose are made from Birch furniture buttons painted with 2 primer coats, 2 color coats, and 2 clear lacquer coats. The bumpers are glued into place with a 2 part epoxy adhesive. The incised design is handcrafted with a wood-burning tool. Food-grade mineral oil is applied as a finish.
