Wool and Spice

Wool and Spice has been in business since 2013 and specializes in handmade purses and pouches. Fiber artist Holly Cox takes pride in creating original products using genuine leather, recycled wool, and fun textiles. Completely self-taught, Holly decided to open Wool and Spice as an outlet for her creative products. She designs and makes each item in her Scottsdale studio.

When Holly started her business, she was captivated by the wonderful softness of recycled wool sweaters. Holly’s first products were made completely out of upcycled wool; however, through time she discovered that wool lacks durability. Thus, she branched out into leather and other textiles and discovered that she enjoyed working with these different materials too. Color and texture both play a big role in Holly’s work as does quality construction. Holly uses all her own original patterns and designs which adds to the one of a kind nature of the products.
