Hello! My name is Cassandra Davis, and I am head chef and owner of The Davis Kitchen. A personal chef, and a small event catering company based in Phoenix Arizona. I am a recent transplant to the area, but I was born and raised in the great state of Texas!
I have been cooking from as far back as I can remember, from my mom teaching me how to bake cakes and cookies, along with a little bit of everything in the kitchen, to cooking full meals in the basement of my college dorm! Living in Texas my whole life I was surrounded by amazing food that included everything from BBQ, Southern, Cajun, Italian, and or Tex-Mex! I couldn’t help but fall in love with it, and though I didn’t know it yet it became my passion.
I knew I was a good cook, but I also knew that there was so much more to learn, so I went to Culinary School. That experience not only refined my skills I had a whole new wealth of knowledge that I might be able to apply to a career. But it wasn’t until I started cooking for more and more friends, family, small events, and holidays, that I realized that I wanted to this for the rest of my life. It was those same loved ones that encouraged me to turn this passion I have for all things food into a business.
Moving to Arizona was the perfect opportunity to make that happen. I wanted to bring flavors together that represented not only my style, and where I am from, but my family and my culture. With all that in mind The Davis Kitchen was born.
