Nobody wants 25 ingredients in their tortilla. Nobody wants a stale, tasteless piece of cardboard haphazardly wrapped around the filling they worked so hard to make. So here we are, making fresh, delicious homemade tortillas, Estilo Sonora, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We use tried and true family recipes, and experiment with new and innovative flavors, fats, and spices every chance we get.
Your body is a temple, and it deserves the best food possible. Our mission, and we choose to accept it, is to make the freshest, best tasting tortillas possible, with the highest quality ingredients, and get them to the world. (Arizona right now. World later.) All cultures, all nationalities, people of all ages bond over food. It might as well be delicious.
Christopher Hudson is an Arizona native. The BBG (Big Bald Guy) behind the Tortilla Table started in food service bussing tables at 15 years old, and ended up managing a local eatery by age 19. From cooking to serving, dish washing to managing, he did it all at some point. A few years away from the restaurant world made him miss sharing his love for good food with those around him, but he didn’t miss the schedule. So instead, he focused on developing his culinary skills by befriending chefs around the Phoenix Valley, and taking any advice and knowledge he could glean. Food trucks were investigated, taco stands were dreamed of, and restaurants were considered. But in the end, Benny Blanco came calling, and it was a match made in heaven.
