Absolutely Delightful Honey

In 2003, Eleanor Dziuk set out on a mission to start her very own small business. After noticing that local beekeepers were underrepresented at the local farmer’s markets, she contacted Mountain Top Honey Co. of Flagstaff Arizona. 

Eleanor befriended Dennis Arp, the beekeeper, and began selling his honey at the local Phoenix markets. Over the years it became clear that the AZ community wanted quality local honey. Many customers also wanted to support their local beekeepers, and were unable to find truly local honey at the local grocery store chains. Eleanor and her family worked together to establish Absolutely Delightful as a connection between small to mid-sized beekeepers and Arizona locals through the community markets.

Along the way, we began working with a wide range of full-time and part-time beekeepers, representing their products at the farmer’s markets. As a result, we began to offer a wide range of seasonal honey harvested from all over our beautiful state.

In 2020, Eleanor and her little honey business were awarded with The Phoenix New Times Best Honey award. That same year, she opened up her own little shop located off the I-17 Freeway and Peoria, moving the business out of the family’s garage.

You can catch Eleanor at the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market most every weekend. She is delighted to be a part of such a wonderful and supportive small business community.

The Dziuk family has continued supporting Eleanor’s small business over the years. Her husband Ed, now works beside her most weekends at the market. Her daughter Annalee is the vendor for ADAZ at the Gilbert Farmers Market. Her son Ian helps to manage the ADAZ social media channels, website, and is a general assistant for the business.
